Tomorrow’s Farming Today

Northern Farming Conference

The Northern Farming Conference aims to give farmers the opportunity to consider how best to progress and take control of their businesses over the next few years.

Leading farmers and industry stakeholders from across the country examine what the future has in store for farmers and their plans for it, as well as the potential opportunities in an ever-changing rural landscape.

The focus of the 2023 conference was on farming and land use innovations that are being implemented, or in the pipeline. Our carefully selected speakers discussed aspects of farming that can be planned and measured to ensure a sustainable farming system. In other words, a future-proofed rural landscape.

Broadly it explored technological advances and the benefits it brings which can be as beneficial as changing in a farming system. Setting out to challenge conventional mantra of "we've always done it this way".
